Greenspace Gatherings

Greenspace Gathering grew naturally out of our Front Yard Friday tradition.What started as neighbors on Bob O Link gathering in front yards to visit and enjoy the evening became known as Front Yard Fridays. As our restoration and conservation work in the greenspace continued, we realized the greenspace itself is also a wonderful place to gather. Meeting there gives new neighbors a chance to connect and learn more about the work happening in this shared space. 

This is a casual, come-as-you-are gathering. Some people stop by for just a few minutes, while others stay longer. Regulars often bring chairs, along with snacks or beverages to share, but there is no expectation to bring anything.

We usually have a few extra chairs available, especially now that some nice "repurposed" chairs have been added to the greenspace gathering spot.

When you see this yard sign show up near the intersection of Jacana and Bob O Link - or a neighbor's yard. You know there will be a Gathering the upcoming Friday!  If any details change, we will have a little sign clipped to the top with information.
