What to Expect
- Habitat Assessment in Action – Learn how scientists and volunteers evaluate stream health, from water quality to habitat structure.
- Native vs. Invasive Species Walk – Get to know the plants that belong here… and the ones that threaten our ecosystems.
- Stream Health Check-Up – See how erosion, pollution, and human activity affect a stream—and how to spot warning signs.
- Real Ways You Can Help – Learn simple, everyday actions that make a big difference for our waterways.
- Bank Stabilization Workshop – At 11:30 am, we will demonstrate propagating and planting black willow, a native species that protects banks and provides habitat.
